We all love a good news story.

This one from listener Kerry takes the cake.

Kerry tells Ray she became a grandmother for the second time on Monday night in the most unusual circumstances.

Her son Ben was rushing his heavily pregnant partner Emily to Mona Vale Hospital in his trusty Honda Jazz.

But little bub Willow just couldn’t wait to enter the world.

“By the time they got to the BP at Mona Vale she was born and Emily did it all herself!” Kerry says.

“Well, a Honda Jazz is a family car, and they definitely need a new back seat!”

Ray couldn’t help but gush over his newborn grandchild Ava Marie, who turned one-month-old yesterday.

“Kerry you’ve given me the opportunity to brag about my granddaughter.

“I’m absolutely delighted for you, for Ben, for Emily, for Willow. All the best.”
