Ray Hadley has told his listeners about the ‘exhausting’ afternoon he spent shopping with his granddaughter Ava.

The proud granddad marched her up and down the aisles but says juggling Ava and the shopping was far from an easy task.

“It’s an exhausting afternoon going shopping with a one-year-old!

“I’ve got a newfound admiration for young mothers.”
