Sky News presenter, Sharri Markson, has disclosed that the government knew of illegal boat arrivals several days before it was made public.

“I asked home affairs yesterday whether it arrived on Wednesday … and [they] came back to me and said that because the operation was ongoing, they couldn’t provide any further information”.

“Which was just a … classic cover up response”, Markson said.
