Racing NSW chief executive Peter V’landys has slammed the treatment of former police commissioner Mick Fuller as “deplorable”.

Mr Fuller was blocked from joining the Racing NSW board after he failed to declare a 2.5 per cent ownership of two racehorses.

Mr V’landys told Ben Fordham he hasn’t “given up at all” on Mr Fuller.

“The way he’s been treated is a complete injustice. I hope his reputation is restored.

“Mick Fuller is a man of the highest integrity. It’s the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, ever.

“It’s the biggest beat up I have seen.”
