Scott Morrison’s EXTRAORDINARY self-defense after Robodebt Royal Commission
Scott Morrison gave a truly extraordinary self-defense for his role in the Robodebt disaster, describing it as a “political lynching”.
During a rare speech post-election in Parliament, he decried the Royal Commission into the Robodebt scheme as an attack on his character and an organised attempt by Labor to discredit him.
“An attempt to discredit me and my service to our country during one of the most difficult periods since World War II”, Morrison proclaimed in Canberra.
