Roosters coach Trent Robinson and Boyd Cordner developed a special bond during their time at the club with the coach saying the one club player will continue to impact the club in some way.

“There’s no doubt he’ll be about the club in some sense, but we haven’t even discussed that,” says Robinson.

Cordner played all of his 183 NRL matches with the club and saw his career develop through Easts junior teams.

“The Roosters will be a part of it (his future), I’m just not sure in what sense,” says Robinson.
